Birding in Hungary VIII

On Monday, we were planning to go to visit Tisza-to, Hortobagy and the surrounding region. After a 2-hour drive we arrived in the village of Sarud, where we will be staying for the next two nights. We met up with our cousin and played ping-pong in the garden. Once everybody had went inside I went birding around the garden to see some birds for my Heves county list. I saw two Red-backed shrike, a female feeding a juvinile. Later I heard a Turtle dove singing but I could bot see it. In a nearby field I saw a couple of White Wagtails and a Hoopoe before going to join the barbeque.
